Cindy Miller to represent Legends at Seattle Golf & Travel Show

March 1, 2018

Legends Tour member and former LPGA National Teacher of the Year Cindy Miller will appear at the Seattle Golf & Travel Show March 3-4, at the CenturyLink Field Event Center in downtown Seattle. Miller will provide golf instruction and personally invite golf fans to this year’s Suquamish Clearwater Legends Cup presented by The Boeing Company.

The Legends Tour event, hosted by the White Horse Golf Club in Kingston, will be held June 8-10. Miller will appear this week in the White Horse Golf Club Booth #739 to offer golf tips and mini-clinics to promote The Legends Tour event coming to the area in June.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Miller will be one of 30 Legends of the LPGA Tour who will compete in the 36-hole professional tournament this summer.

“I’m looking forward to playing in the Suquamish Clearwater Legends Cup in June,” said Miller, who competed on the LPGA Tour before turning to golf instruction and earning honors as the LPGA’s top teacher in 2010.

“I love having the chance to compete against the best women players in the world age 45-over and challenging myself to improve my game,” added Miller, who also competed in two of the Golf Channel’s “Big Break” shows. “It’s never too late to get better in golf.”

At the Seattle Golf & Travel Show on Saturday, March 3, Miller will host mini-clinics on “Hitting the Ball Straight on Purpose” in Booth #739 from 10-11:30 a.m., followed by a session entitled “No More Three Putts” from 2-3:30 p.m.

Miller will make an appearance on the main stage Saturday at 4:15 p.m., entitled “Own Your Game: Confidence Builders and Mental Checks.”

On Sunday, March 4, she will hold mini-clinics in the White Horse booth on course management and better scoring. All instruction is free to those attending the Seattle Golf & Travel Show.

“Golfers can expect to get simple solutions for stray shots from me,” said Miller, a Class A LPGA professional who is one of Golf Digest’s Top-50 Women Teachers in America and a contributing instructor on the Golf Channel’s “Morning Drive” show.

“I am known for being brutally honest, but I believe people appreciate the truth when trying to improve,” she added. “I explain causes and cures in an understandable way, which helps people get better quickly.”

Miller is married to PGA professional Allen Miller. The couple has combined to compete on the LPGA Tour, PGA Tour, PGA Champions Tour and The Legends Tour.
