Betsy King to defend at ANA Legends Day next month

February 15, 2018

LPGA and World Golf Hall of Famer Betsy King returns this March to Mission Hills to defend her single round win last year over 23 of her peers on The Legends Tour, official senior tour of the LPGA.  "I kind of surprised myself a little bit last year," says King, a 34-time LPGA Tour champion who won the ANA Inspiration major championship three times during her regular tour career. "Shot a 68 and stayed out of trouble so it was a lot of fun."

ANA Inspiration Legends Day features 24 Legends of the LPGA playing alongside 48 AJGA Juniors on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Mission Hills in Rancho Mirage, CA to kick off tournament week at the ANA Inspiration, the LPGA's First Major.

The Legends' roster includes past ANA Inspiration champions, LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame members and major championship winners. The Legends play 18 holes during the final round of the junior competition. A Legends champion and an AJGA champion will be crowned on the same day.

Besides King, there are 14 Legends committed so far to appear in this year's event. Among them are LPGA and World Golf Hall of Famers Amy Alcott, Pat Bradley and Donna Caponi.

In addition you'll see Donna Andrews, Susie Berning, Jane Blalock, Brandie Burton, Jane Geddes, Pat Hurst, Christa Johnson, Liselotte Neumann, Sandra Palmer, Laurie Rinker and Jan Stephenson. Keep an eye on TheLegendsTour.com for field updates and additional event details.
