Free admission, parking at Chico's Patty Berg Memorial

April 12, 2016

The 2016 Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial, a joint event featuring the rising stars in women’s golf from the Symetra Tour and past LPGA greats from the Legends Tour, begins on Thursday, April 14 and continues through Sunday, April 17. Tickets to the event are free to the public all four days courtesy of Sallee Promotions.

“We’ve been involved in the event in years past and we love helping community based events like this wonderful golf tournament,” said Nate Sallee, owner of Sallee Promotions. “We look forward to being out there watching some great golf with the rest of Southwest Florida.”

Spectator parking will be in the grass lot at the Annunication Green Orthodox Church on the northwest corner of Cypress Lake Drive and FSW Lane. Spectators will be shuttled from the parking lot to the course approximately every ten minutes between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Spectators are urged to use the FSW Lane entrance into the grass lot.

The Symetra Tour will play a 72-hole tournament while The Legends Tour will play 36-holes starting on  Saturday, April 16. The two Tours will compete for separate purses, but play and finish together over the weekend.

All proceeds from the Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial will benefit Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
