“I really enjoyed getting to know the Symetra Tour players and watching them play,” said Rinker. “I saw so much talent and it was a lot of fun playing alongside them in our respective competitions.”

This year’s third annual event with mark the second year the two tours have combined simultaneous events. Players from the Legends Tour and Symetra Tour will compete for separate purses.

The Symetra Tour’s 72-hole event will begin play on Thursday, April 14 and run through Sunday, April 17, with a 36-hole cut to the low 70 scores and ties.

The Legends Tour 36-hole tournament will begin on Saturday, April 16 and conclude simultaneously with the Symetra Tour event on Sunday, April 17. One Legends Tour player will be added to each pairing on the weekend alongside two Symetra Tour members.

The Symetra Tour field will consist of the top 139 aspiring LPGA stars along with 12 of the top players from the Taiwan Ladies Professional Golf Association (TLPGA). “Winning is winning at any level and it is always great,” added Rinker. “After retiring from the LPGA, I wasn't sure if I would get a chance to compete again, but The Legends Tour has given me that opportunity.”
