“This is a unique opportunity to align the future stars of the LPGA Tour with living legends who produced countless LPGA Tour major championships,” said Mike Nichols, Chief Business Officer of the Symetra Tour. “This event will serve as an opportunity for our players to continue the development process by learning from some of the best to ever play the game and for fans to experience an unprecedented two Tours at one venue.”

The Symetra Tour event begins on Thursday, April 16 and runs through Sunday, April 19 while the Legends Tour event starts on Saturday, April 18 and concludes with the Symetra Tour event on Sunday. Symetra Tour players and Legends Tour players will be paired together during weekend play.

“The four players, two with local ties, will add to what already is going to be a fantastic and unique event,” said tournament director Matt Hoover. “We’re grateful that our title sponsor, Chico’s, had this vision to put together a one-of-a-kind event.”

Patty was a role model of mine growing up. Since I was a girl, I've dreamed of playing on the LPGA Tour. I am honored to play in this special event that combines LPGA Legends with future stars, providing a unique experience for golf fans of all ages.”

Myers, a Fort Myers native, played on the LPGA Tour from 1986-2003. She won three times on the LPGA Tour including twice in 1997. Myers won the Heather Farr Award in 1997. She also won the Ben Hogan Award from the Golf Writers Association of America in 1998. Myers played in the Chico’s Patty Berg Memorial in 2014.
