"My first day's
score was not stellar (1 over), but I had confidence that my
putting was going to show up soon and find some birdies on the
wonderful Concord CC. Shooting 6 under on the second day helped
my standing and I was only one shot back from Alicia Dibos going
into Sunday. Everything was great on the front 9. I had made
birdie on 6 to inch closer to the lead.
As we made our
way on the back 9 and three birdies later, I suddenly felt that
old excitement and pressure of winning tournaments hit me in the
stomach. Gathering myself after a 3-putt bogey on 15, I was able
to hold off Alicia for the win."
