LPGA Legends Rookie Sherri Steinhauer Wins Inaugural Legends Major Championship

Innisbrook, FL, November 22, 2009 – In her first Legends Tour appearance, Sherri Steinhauer carded a second round 70 finishing with a 3 under par 141 for the tournament and leading the field of 44 LPGA Legends in the Legends Tour Open Championship, the first major on The Legends Tour. Sherri takes home a $50,000 winner’s check.  

Allison Finney shot the low tournament round with a 69. Local qualifier Laura Shanahan Rowe finished tied for 3^rd with a 145. Defending Champion Rosie Jones picked up three shots and finished tied for 6^th.
